Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

You hold everything together...

My Lord and Keeper of my soul,
The One who created the earth and all that is in it,
The Sovereign King who places rulers and authorities in their position,
My Kind Ruler who moves the hearts of kings like water,

Hear the heart of an earthly father, and the many who join with me.

Your name has been glorified from the begining of this story. Your mercy has permeated every part. Every minute detail has Your gentle fingerprints all over it. You gave us a love for two children, and a hope for their futures. You have moved in the hearts of many of Your children to join together in one voice asking You for that which only You can do.

Your eyes "are on the righteous, and [Your] ears are open to their prayers;" (I Pet. 3:12)

"Now this is the confidence that we have in [You], that if we ask anything according to [Your] will, [You] hear us. And if we know that [You] hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of [You]." (I John 5:14-15)

God, move in the heart, mind, and spirit, of our judge in only the way that You can to grant us favor in his eyes. Make Your glory so shine through Jennifer, Katie, Christopher, and all those who are at her side, that our judge may clearly see You. Show Your power in what men say is "improbable". Let all those watching have their faith encouraged and deepened by the way You work.

Your ways are beyond our comprehension, and Your compassion for these orphans beyond compare. Let our judge be moved by You, and only You, to rule immediately in our favor. Men say this can't be done, but we don't place our trust in men no matter what position they hold. We trust in the name of the Lord, our God! There is none equal to You. There is no one who cares for the weak like You.

Your heart delights in the unity of Your children. Be delighted and blessed now as we ask You to do what only You can do. Be honored by our prayers and longing for Your glory. Make Your name famous around the world on this day. Let Your works be told of over and over and over in the decades to come.

We are Yours. Katie and Christopher are Yours. We yield with thankfulness to Your sovereign desires, and we will be glad in whatever You choose to do. It is not for our glory or selfish ambition that we present these requests to You. It is for Your renown and pleasure.

You are sufficient for us. Find joy and favor in Your people today.

We love You with all that is within us, and lift this all to You in the only name by which we are saved, Jesus.

Amen.

"All things were created by Him. He created everthing in heaven and on earth. He created everything that can be seen and everything that can't be seen. He created kings, powers, rulers and authorities. Everything was created by Him and for Him. Before anything was created, He was already there. He holds everthing together." (Col. 1:16-17)

We are praying for everyone's safety and a speedy process to get Katie and Christopher in MT. It would be great to have them "home" when I visit the end of the month. Give them a kiss from mamaw and papaw.

Love, MOM

We are united in prayer with you. I am humbled to tears by your faithful and passionate heart for God's glory to be famous through God purpose for your family. Oh that we would all follow Him, lift up our every request to Him, and and submit our agendas to His will - trusting in our Lord's sovereignty and love - the way your family has exemplified.

Thank you for sharing your heart.

We are praying for you. It just feels like the Lord is touching my heart in humbleness when I hear what you all are doing. It just is big to realize that whether we are here in Billings, MT USA or Uganda Africa, we are all part of Gods family and our purpose is to glorify HIM. You all are definately doing that!

Todd what a heart of worship you have... He does hold everything together. Your blog was a great encouragement to our family today.
Jenny,
It is 3:00 PM here and I am waiting to here the word! I had the most prolonged dreams of you last night. You were in delievery and a dula was with you. I was outside praying and could only hear what she was coaching you. There were so many people around and in and out of the room they were all there to pray. I heard continual chatter of prayer outside your room and comming from your room. I knew I could not stop praying until I heard your babies cry. It was a wild dream I know and may sound crazy. But for us adoptive mommies we do carry these children in our hearts and our labor pains last far longer and the deleiver has so many things that have to be just so to make it happen. I phyically carried Hadassah in my heart. My heart would race on certain days and later I was to find out it was the day she was born and the day she was found under a tree. I know you have felt things at specific times in your process. So much of this as parnets is born of our spirits! God and his ways are amazing!
So I was with you last night let me tell you praying even in my sleep. I was saying the Word to you through the delievery room door. I woke up the the beautiufl sounds of your babies crying and there was so much joy like this has finally happened! My heart is believeing God you have heard a YES and Amen and have seen God's awesome favor that is better then life!
Love you,
Amanda

Amanda...How very very beautiful. I know you wrote for Jenny, but you've touched my heart as well. Or rather He touched my heart through your words.

Jenny,
I know the news you heard today was not what you desired and maybe you feel as if God did not answer you in the way He should have, but His timing throughout this WHOLE process has been directed by Him and Him alone. His glory will be shown no mater when you here the ruling, because you and Todd are honoring Him through you diligent pursuit of adopting these children. You now have a great oppurtunity to keep showing your amazing trust and faith in Him as you carry on waiting for next Tuesday. His Glory can be shown through your actions and acceptance of His will right now. It is through following the Lord's will that we radiate Jesus in our lives and therefore show God glory.

Jenny I will also be praying for Katie. May the Lord heal her quickly from her illnesses and may you return safely and early with her and Christopher. Stay strong and remember the encouraging blessings He has already given He can still do mighty things and will.

Even though Lacey returns home soon, there are still many with you carrying you through pray and love.
