Big Day, Bigger God!

Tomorrow is the Big Day!

Pray purposefully tonight as you lay your head down that the Judge grants us irrevocable guardianship of Katie & Christopher. Pray with purpose, and with the knowledge that the One we speak to and with hears us, and desires to do good things that shine with His glory.

Pray for a favorable verbal & written ruling.

Big Day...Bigger God!

Wow you're up early! I'm sure it's hard to sleep (besides having to travel today).

I'm having a hard time seeing through my tears - I love the pictures and I'm so excited to hear that you could get your written ruling tomorrow (today) at the same time as your verbal ruling. I will be praying at every opportunity that God would delight in thrilling us all with today's events!

I'm also praying for your ride to Kampala with both kids. You are such a wonderful mommy.

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."

Hey, Jenny and Todd, just checking in for news today. We all prayed for you and the kids Monday night, as we have each day. You're all on our hearts, and we sure know what your road is like. We know that God is writing the testimony for Christopher and Katie. He has already done so much in their lives, and we hope all the kids from Amani will know and understand how very much their God has loved them from the start. We'll check in later. Much love to you! Psalm 33:20-22 - "We wait for the LORD; he is our deliverer and shield. For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name. May we experience your faithfulness, O LORD, for we wait for you."

Ps 92:5 "How great are your works, O LORD! Your plans are very intricate!"

Eph 10:1-2 “The LORD said to Moses, 'Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, in order to display these signs of mine before him,. . . so that you may know that I am the LORD.'”

Jenny,
I cannot imagine how your heart must have sunk when you heard the judge did not have a ruling yet. All I can think about is how the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart after the Israelites had already endured for so long because He still had more to do so that His perfect plan could play out. And ultimately God blessed them more than they could have ever imagined.

God is completely in control - He appointed this judge to you to fulfill His purposes. He will be glorified even beyond what we can imagine!

Ps.89:8,14-17 "O LORD, sovereign God! Who is strong like you, O LORD? Your faithfulness surrounds you. ... Equity and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loyal love and faithfulness characterize your rule. How blessed are the people who worship you! O LORD, they experience your favor. They rejoice in your name all day long, and are vindicated by your justice. For you give them splendor and strength. By your favor we are victorious."

I love you and am praying with you continually - Lana
