We have made it safely home and are slowly adjusting to the quick pace. I am posting some pictures from our trip. Once we are caught up on sleep and I fight this cold, we will write more.
yikes! scary hair! learning the art of balancing Here's tech support! Tell this stork to hurry up and deliver our babies!
Wow! That is a great look for you! I really hope I get to see it in person soon! I am so glad you guys are home. I can't wait to see you and hear all the details of your journey. We will be praying those precious little ones will be home soon as well. Love, The Gipes
Todd and Jenny, We are very touched to hear of your journeys and what God is doing in your hearts and the lives. My eyes are filled with tears to learn of your name for your daughter. Thank you for posting these adventures and sharing. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing it will be! I know Katie will be thrilled to meet Katie. A group of orphans came to OR when we were living there a couple years ago. It was incredible to learn of their situation and hear their testimonies as they sang and shared in the US to raise support for those in their hometown. The church we were a part of dug 3 wells with living water, set up churches and helped orphans. Groups continue to go there and it is neat to see what God is doing. We think of you often as we have continued the hot chocolate worship night tradition with the college group here. We look forward to seeing pictures of the little ones in your arms in MT! Merry Christmas, love, Keith and Heather Purvis New: purvisfam@gmail.com 95 Willow Springs Lane #104 Goleta, CA 93117
Hey! Having a slow night...These pictures are so great. I can hear the stories that go with them...I just came across the page in "My Utmost for His Highest" where I wrote Lam. 3:24 down...and am reminded again that, the Lord is my inheritance, I will put my hope in Him. When we get down, when we get discouraged, when we get sick of waiting...Our hope is planted in someone SO good that we can't fathom what He has in store for us! That is my only lifeline, my only hope, my only source of joy when I can't pull any out of anywhere else. Thankgoodness...No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those that love Him. (1cor 2:9) I'm lovin', I'm waitin', I'm prayin!
Welcome! Todd and I have 3 biological children and have adopted a son and daughter from Uganda, Africa. This story is about God's love, His faithfulness, and His sovereignty. We were not expecting to adopt, but God gave us a desire so that He could fulfill it. Our hope is that He receives the glory. To read the story from the beginningclick here!
